Refills Review

Refills is a telehealth platform for GLP-1 therapy that pairs licensed clinicians with a U.S. compounding pharmacy and ships monthly supplies with simple pricing.

Expect a promotional first month, a recurring monthly cadence, and fast shipping once your prescription is approved.

About Refills

Clear monthly cadence with aggressive intro pricing. Best for planners who want predictable refills.

Why it's for you

  • Low promotional entry price with simple monthly billing.
  • Fast shipping claims with overnight once compounded and tracking updates.
  • Includes clinician evaluation, follow-ups, and support in the price.

Why it's not for you

  • Pricing varies by landing page and offer; standard rates are higher than the promo.
  • Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved products.
  • Binding arbitration with class-action waiver; Rx sales generally final after dispensing.

Pricing and plans

Refills advertises a low entry price for compounded GLP-1. A prominent offer shows $159 for the first month, with "all dosage the same low price," free overnight shipping, cancel online anytime, and no membership fees.

Standard pricing appears higher after the intro period. An official landing page lists $399 per month for the program after the initial discount and says it includes physician evaluations, follow-ups, unlimited clinician access, monthly prescriptions, a 4-week supply, any required blood work, and shipping.

Other pages advertise "as low as $6 per day" when paying for a 12-month plan up front or via buy-now-pay-later, which pencils out near $180 per month when averaged.

Translation for budgeting. Expect a promotional first month at $159, then plan for a recurring monthly spend typically in the $299-$399 range depending on which Refills offer you enter through and the plan you select.

How it works and timing

You complete an online intake. A licensed clinician reviews your information and may follow up. Refills states that depending on your health needs you could receive a prescription decision within 24 hours.

After approval, Refills says shipping and tracking information is typically issued within two business days. Their FAQ adds that most orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days after prescription approval and pharmacy processing. Some pages also promise free overnight shipping once the label is created.

Availability claims vary by page. One marketing page says available in all 50 states, while the FAQ says they ship to most states and availability may vary by product and pharmacy regulations. Check your state at checkout to avoid surprises.

Compounded medications explained

Refills offers compounded GLP-1 medications dispensed by U.S. pharmacies and states plainly that these compounded products have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, quality, or efficacy. That is normal for 503A compounding, but it is a different assurance than an FDA-approved brand vial.

Keep an eye on the policy environment. The FDA declared the semaglutide shortage resolved in 2025 and has signaled tighter limits on compounding for drugs that are not in shortage. Enforcement timelines have shifted pending litigation, so patients using compounded GLP-1s should watch for updates.

Privacy, pharmacy, and terms

Refills operates the platform. Independent, U.S.-licensed clinicians provide care. The Terms list examples of provider groups and clarify that prescribing decisions remain with the clinician. Refills is not a medical services provider.

Pharmacy fulfillment currently lists Perfect Rx Pharmacy in Texas as a partner. Refills says it may add partners and updates its page when that happens.

The Terms allow prescriptions to be directed to a pharmacy of your choice. If you choose that route, expect to pay that pharmacy directly because the platform price covers in-network fulfillment.

Privacy is split. General account data is governed by the privacy policy, while health-related data in care flows is treated as PHI under HIPAA with a separate Notice. Refills says it does not use PHI for marketing without consent.

Legal terms include binding arbitration under JAMS in San Diego with a class-action waiver. Governing law is Georgia. If legal terms matter to you, note the venue and dispute framework before you subscribe.

FAQ: quick answers people search for

Is Refills legit? Refills is a platform. Licensed clinicians decide if you qualify and a U.S. pharmacy dispenses and ships. Refills lists its provider groups and pharmacy partner publicly.

What does it cost? Expect $159 for the first month on the promo page, then monthly pricing commonly presented at $399. Some offers show as low as about $6 per day with annual prepay.

How long does shipping take? Refills says shipping and tracking are issued within two business days after approval. The FAQ says most orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days after prescription approval and pharmacy processing. An offer page highlights free overnight shipping once shipped.

Where is it available? The FAQ says most states. A marketing page says all 50 states. Check your state in the checkout flow.

Is it FDA-approved? Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved products. Refills discloses this throughout its GLP-1 pages and terms.

Can I cancel or get a refund? You can cancel through your account before the next refill. Refills states you will be contacted before billing. By law prescription medications are not returnable, so all sales are final after dispensing. A separate returns page covers unopened non-prescription items for 30 days.

Bottom line

Refills is appealing if you want a low first month, a simple monthly cadence, and fast shipping once your prescription is approved. The value is strongest for people comfortable with compounded GLP-1 who plan a week ahead.

It is less ideal if you want brand medications, guaranteed two-day turnaround in every cycle, or terms without arbitration. Pricing varies by entry page, so read the offer you are on and set calendar reminders for renewals to keep control of costs.
