Flex Review

Flex splits the offer into three clear routes: a low-commitment membership, a financing plan that can include brand GLP-1 medication, and a Flex Certified compounded path.

The site posts specific prices, lists what is included in each plan, and leans on an insurance-advocate team to navigate prior authorizations and savings cards.

About Flex

Multiple ways to pay, posted prices, and hands-on help with insurance.

Why it's for you

  • Three plan types with specific dollar amounts posted, including a membership and two Flex Pay options.
  • Insurance advocate service and prior-authorization help are built in.
  • Flex Pay (3–6 mo) advertises $222/mo payments that can include brand medication for up to six months if you qualify.
  • Flex Certified path claims 503B CGMP sourcing, NDC listings, and third-party testing with nationwide shipping.
  • Starter kit, lab testing, app coaching, and CGM prescription are included in the bundles.

Why it's not for you

  • Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved; that tradeoff holds even with 503B sourcing.
  • Pricing language varies (for example $300 “starting at” versus $375–$425 monthly), so budget from the detailed plan you select.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable once billed; cancel before the next cycle.
  • Flex Pay requires qualification and functions like a revolving healthcare credit line, even if marketed with no interest or fees.
  • The site does not publish a standard shipping SLA; plan around normal pharmacy processing.

Pricing and plans

Flex Now is the simple entry. It runs $249.99 per month for the first three months, then drops to $99.99 for ongoing care. Medication is separate.

Flex Pay (3–6 months) is a financing path. The site advertises $222 per month payments for up to 36 months, which can include up to six months of brand medication if you qualify.

Flex Pay (12 months) lists $425 per month and includes monthly semaglutide shipped to your home. This is the choice they flag for people without GLP-1 coverage.

Flex Certified is the compounded route. Across the site you will see “starting at $300 per month” and a $375–$425 monthly range that includes compounded GLP-1 shipments. Treat those as a range and confirm the exact bundle you want.

Two budget anchors: if insurance denies coverage they quote typical brand cash prices around $550–$1,600 per month, and the membership bundles already include labs, coaching, a starter kit, and CGM prescription—medication is the swing cost unless you are on a Flex Pay plan that includes it.

How it works and timing

Intake happens online, followed by a provider visit and plan setup in the app. You complete labs, meet your coach, discuss insurance or Flex Pay, and the provider writes a prescription if appropriate.

Fulfillment runs two ways: home delivery or pickup at one of 62,000 pharmacies. Flex states it ships to all 50 states. They do not publish a guaranteed ship time, so plan around standard pharmacy processing.

Compounded medications explained

Flex Certified emphasizes 503B CGMP manufacturing, FDA NDC listings, DMF-sourced APIs, and third-party testing, and notes they do not use 503A pharmacies.

Even with those assurances, compounded GLP-1 drugs remain non-FDA-approved and are not reviewed by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before dispensing. That is true for all compounded drugs.

Regulatory conditions around compounding have tightened since the GLP-1 shortages eased in late 2024. If you are sensitive to that nuance confirm the exact source pharmacy during intake.

Privacy, pharmacy, and terms

Clinical care and HIPAA notices operate under Revival Health Inc., and the site lists OpenLoop Health as a provider network partner.

Flex’s FAQ notes previously incurred monthly fees are non-refundable and you must cancel before the next billing cycle. App cancellation is available for Flex Now; email support works for all programs.

Bottom line

Flex is built for choice. If you need financing for brand medication, the $222/mo path is compelling. If you prefer compounded GLP-1s, Flex Certified posts a clear monthly price and ships nationwide.

Tradeoffs remain: compounded meds are not FDA-approved, membership fees are not refundable mid-cycle, and ship times are not guaranteed. If those fit your planning style, Flex provides transparent pricing and hands-on insurance support.
